Art for All Open Day

Our open day to celebrate World Mental Health Day, in collaboration with Independence Trust, was a huge success. With over 100 attendees, the event offered a delightful experience with homemade treats and a cuppa, engaging stalls, insightful demonstrations, enriching workshops and a captivating slideshow. It was a vibrant and social day filled with members of Art for All sharing their stories and showcasing our organisation to the public and fellow organisations. A big thank you to those who attended, volunteered their time, baked cakes and helped to make the day a great success!

Nature In Art Exhibition

In May 2023 Art for All exhibited in the education centre at Nature in Art, Twigworth, Gloucester. The exhibition was a great success, with so many valuable conversations about how art is a beneficial tool when aiming to improve wellbeing. All members of Art For All took part, experiencing every aspect of putting on an exhibition.
We are grateful to Simon for allowing us to exhibit, and all the wonderful staff at Nature In Art. It’s a very special place.

To see some of the exhibited work, look at our gallery web page.

Calendar Project

Art For All was awarded a grant from Cheltenham Borough Council to produce a calendar. We ran weekly art and printmaking classes to create the work. The classes were well attended and enjoyed. A visiting printmaker ran some workshops where lots of new skills were learnt.

Our lovely Cheltenham-themed cale dar is on sale at £5. Please contact artforallgroup@outlook.com

They can be collected or posted out. All proceeds go directly back to art for all.

Jubilee Project - Cheltenham Borough Council

This piece of work was created to commemorate the Queens Silver Jubilee with a grant from the Cheltenham borough council. This work depicts the wildlife and landscape of the twinned Queen Elizabeth Park in Uganda.
Members researched and sketched the images, then transferred
them onto three canvases and painted them in acrylic. This work has been on display at Nature in Art as part of our spring exhibition, and will be on permanent display at Gas Green community centre. Helen drew an image depicting the animals and this has been made into a greeting card, which sold very well at Nature In Art, and will continue to be sold to generate funds for Art For All.
